Takshila Trust was founded with a singular purpose: to ensure that every child in India has access to quality education, proper healthcare, and a safe environment to grow and thrive. What started as a small initiative in 2010 has blossomed into a nationwide movement touching the lives of over 50,000 children and their families.
Our Evolution
2010 - The Beginning
Takshila Trust was established with a focus on providing quality education to underprivileged children. We started with a single center in Delhi, working with just 50 children and a handful of dedicated volunteers.
2013 - Expanding Horizons
Recognizing that education alone wasn't enough, we expanded our mission to include health and nutrition programs. We opened centers in 5 more states and began comprehensive healthcare camps in rural communities.
2016 - Protection & Inclusion
We launched our child protection and women empowerment initiatives. Our counseling services reached vulnerable children, and we began working on inclusion programs for children with disabilities and marginalized communities.
2019 - Digital Transformation
We embraced technology to scale our impact. Digital learning platforms, online mentoring, and data-driven programs helped us reach children in remote areas and provide personalized support.
2021 - Crisis Response
During the pandemic, Takshila Trust pivoted quickly to provide emergency relief, food support, and mental health services. We distributed supplies to 10,000+ families and kept education alive through digital means.
2024 - Present: Building the Future
Today, Takshila Trust operates in 15 states with 50+ centers. We've reached over 50,000 children directly and impacted 2 lakh+ lives through community programs. Our vision remains unchanged: a future where every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
